The single most important thing that work and play have in common is creativity. Creativity brings out more divergent thinking and creative leadership within a company, whether it's in its early stages of development or stuck in a stagnant mode of "this is how we've always done it." Maybe it's time to start doing things differently—and we have the tools to show you how. In just one hour you will experience 5 different playful activities that you can use to bring more divergent thinking and creative leadership to your company. This innovative thinking requires a paradigm shift from risk aversion to risk affection and you can get there in 60 minutes or less.

Bio
Tamara Christensen, MSD, ABD is founder and Most Valuable Player at momentumxdesign, a consultancy that helps organizations create sustainable forward motion (www.mxvxd.com). She specializes in creative consumer insight research, innovation facilitation, training, and playdates for grownups with big challenges. Tamara earned the nickname 'the bonding agent' thanks to her passion and ability for facilitating the integration of research, design, engineering, and manufacturing for a global client list. Her son still just calls her 'silly' and 'weird'.
Tamara has designed and taught courses on cognitive offroading, playing with purpose, creative problem solving, design research and methodologies, design pedagogy, sustainable community development, emotional intelligence, and Italian language & culture. She completed facilitator training with the annual Creative Problem Solving Institute and has contributed to great creative adventures at the CreativityCruise, Mindcamp, and Vitra summer design workshops at Domaine de Boisbuchet in rural France. The rest of her brilliant playdates occur while she is studying the art of funn (functional understanding not necessary) with Master Max, her 7 year-old son, an authority on the art of purposeful play.
In a recent survey of those in the know, Tamara was metaphorically described as a hotpot, a glass of prosecco, an Energizer bunny, a sharpie, and a whirling dervish. She is particularly fond of bold gestures, belly laughs, inventing acronyms, sing talking, staying up late at conferences and opportunities to experience these things together.
