Bio

Rachael prides herself on first being an entrepreneur and second being an investor. Rachael has started companies doing everything from selling goods on ebay to social networking. It is because of her own challenges in starting companies and raising capital that she decided to start a seed stage Angel investment company to provide unprecedented access to capital for more entrepreneurs - regardless of location.

Rachael founded the Angel Capital Group in 2007, which today has locations in Nashville, TN; Knoxville, TN; Memphis, TN; Jackson, MS; and Kansas City, MO. The Angel Capital Group is one of the few angel groups in the US linking Angel investors and entrepreneurs across geographic areas in order to provide communities with a funding source for their local entrepreneurs and local Angels with access to a wider variety of investment opportunities.

After graduating from the University of Kansas with Bachelor's degrees in Business Administration and Accounting with emphasis in Economics, Finance and International Business, Rachael began a financial management career that included positions with Grant Thornton in Kansas City (Auditing), Ernst & Young (International Tax Consultant in Transfer Pricing), and Edward Jones (Financial Advisor), and Pinnacle Financial Partners (Senior Vice President of Asset Management). Rachael held Series 7, Series 63 and Series 65 licenses.
